WHEN GOD PROMISES THE IMPOSSIBLE

As Christians, we often have God’s word of promise come to us, either as prophesy or in the course of our study of the Bible. But there are times we just can’t fathom the way of manifestation of such promise because based on what we know and can plot, such promises are impossible.

Many times we lose what God has packaged for us because we respond wrongly to such promise of his that we consider impossible. But it’s not proper that God, our father who is Almighty, All-powerful, All-strategic will have packages for us, but we lose it because of wrong response to his promise to us.

The right response to God’s promise that seems impossible is to believe in the reality that God will deliver on His promise no matter how impossible it is. Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ got the promise of having a baby even without the natural method of copulation. She did not argue. She only asked question because God’s word to her through angel Gabriel is out of natural order. As soon as she was told, her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and God’s power will rest upon you. For this reason the holy child, will be called the Son of God. She believed and faith in that promise was expressed in her words, “may it happen to me as you have said.” (Luke 1:35-38).

In Elijah days,  there was a member of the king’s cabinet who heard the word of God for the whole nation, but choose to believe that it won’t be a possibility and he died, according to the word of the man of God which kept her from participating in the blessing God has given.

When God’s word of promise for your life comes, you can reject it and suffer alone. But when it’s His promise to a group and you choose to reject it, you put your life in danger. That you can’t plot the mechanism of the manifestation of the word of God does not mean it will not come to pass. That is why you should shut up your mouth when you hear the word of God to Nigeria that in the year 2020, Nigeria will be among the top 20 economies of the world. Stop talking foolishly. Your

You see, God’s promises to his children is more like an advertisement of what He wants and can do for them. Faith in their heart is the currency for the purchase of the advertised blessing. Once God can see faith in the heart of his children and a corresponding action of faith, He sets mechanisms in motion to deliver the blessing.

My friend, choose to reach out for the manifestation of God’s promise by faith. There is nothing he cannot do. Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist was a hopeless case. It has been concluded that she cannot have children, but she did even at old age. Mary gave birth to a Jesus Christ out of the normal. Abraham believed the word of God and became the father of many nations, even when it’s most unlikely that his wife Sarah will conceive.

Please don’t try to plot how God’s word to you can be manifested. It’s actually not your job to do. Do dabble into it is to kill or weaken your ability to believe (have faith) which is the currency for ‘buying’ the manifestation of His words of promise.

By the way, let me tell you: God is never lacking in strategy and promise. He can initiate a new policy in a land to fulfil his words in the life of one man. The King in Jesus time ordered everyone to go home for census, so that Jesus Christ will be born in Bethlehem according the prophesy of Isaiah.

God said that we should call him in the days of trouble and He will answer. David called Him and to deliver him, he shook the foundations of the earth. Believe him today and call upon him in faith. He will shake anybody, organization, bank or artery in your body to deliver you from any trouble.

My brother and sister, we have God, or father who is both eager and able to do the impossible in our lives. If we don’t believe him, we limit (Psa 78:4)the manifestation of His power in our lives. I choose not to limit him again with my unbelief. There is nothing He can’t do. If He says He wants do it, He can indeed do it. It’s high time we stopped crying like Children without a father as great as ours. Let’s stop panicking like those without Almighty father. Your case is not hopeless because he has a word for it. Just believe in him and you will activate the manifestation of the word.
