[INTERVIEW] PASTOR TIMOTHY BENEDICT: BREAKING DEMONIC BONDAGES

God has destined every human being to have abundant but Satan also has a plan for pains and suffering for man. To achieve his goal of subjecting man to perpetual pains and suffering, he keeps people in bondage. But Pastor Timothy, Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Enugu, believes that every man must be liberated from any bondage of the devil. In this interview with BROJID.COM EDITOR, JOSEPH DINWOKE, he explains signs of satanic bondage and how you can get your deliverance from any demonic bondage.

My name is Pastor Timothy Chijioke Benedict. Senior Pastor Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Enugu.

You are holding a programme in Nsukka this week tagged Nsukka Healing and Deliverance Crusade with the theme, Breaking Demonic Bondages. Please what inspired the programme?

We discovered that God is interested in the success of everyone one the earth. At the same time, the devil is interested in the failure of everyone, especially those that don’t want to do his bidding. Because of this, he organizes some thing around them; some of those things are ancestral and sexual bondage through which he hold their destiny in captive. So the people in captivity will be struggling unnecessarily without even knowing why they are not moving forward. Just like a goat or a rat that is chained; no matter how they struggle, they can never move forward until the chain is either cut or loosened.

At the programme, we trust God to communicate his power in liberating inhabitants of Nsukka and its environs.

Dunamines is a Greek work that actually means power. The kind described in Act 1:8. In the programme we trust God to give people liberation from demonic activities so that they can fulfill their God-given purposes.

Sir, please who are the target audience for this programme?

It’s for everybody – Christians and non Christians. Everybody is welcome because we discovered that sometimes, people have one thing or the other they are a battling with and they need a higher faith to get them liberated. Whether you are a believer or not, you are welcome.

Let me get a little bit into the theme of the progarmme. How does one recognize that he is under demonic bondage?

When someone is constantly having a dream of being pursued in a dream or even dreams of sexual relations or dreams of masquerades pursuing them, it’s a sign of demonic bondage. In fact, it’s not just dreams; a life that is not moving forward is under bondage. When you have applied all the principles that you know and things are not working, there is something wrong somewhere that needs to be diagnosed and dealt with.

Please give us details of the programme. When is it starting and where is the venue?

It’s starting on Thursday by 5pm at new Carolina Hotel, Obollo Road, Nsukka. Thursday and Friday is 5pm; Saturday Morning is impartation service and Sunday is 8am.

You said Saturday is Impartation Service. Please what’s impartation service all about?

That’s the day people will bring a point of contact to what they do for a living before the presence of God and it will be prayed for to activate them to function. Because the Bible, Ezekiel 2:2, said that as he speaks unto them the spirit entered into them. We trust God that as we speaks on the points of contacts; the spirit of God will activated them for profitability.

Who are the speakers/minister for this programme and why did you choose them to be the ministers?

The first guest minster is Pastor Eloche King Adaji. He is the regional pastor, Dunamis Church, Markurdi, covering Benue and Enugu State. The other person is Pastor Timothy Chijioke Benedict, that’s myself. By God’s mercy and grace, God has given us some light and insight in these areas. God gave us breakthrough from what we inherited form our fathers, so we have proof and results in this area. By God’s mercy and backing, we are prepared for this assignment.
