BEFORE YOU GO PANTS DOWN…

God put sexual urge in every human being and for reasons best known to Him, He allowed this urge to be functional in the life of single youths like you and I. This urge can be so strong that you feel like ‘doing it’. This urge can even get stronger when you are in love and you have not put measure to ensure you are in love without defilement.

But just before you go pants down, I like to share some important thoughts with you.

One of the major factors to consider before ‘doing it’ with him or her is if she is the right person. Actually, there is the right and wrong person(s) to ‘do it’ with. Please don’t mind those who think it’s just fun and can be had with anybody. People who have studied into the spiritual implications of our actions has said that it’s a kind of spiritual covenant.

You see, we didn’t create ourselves; our creator, God Almighty, commands that we ‘do it’ with our spouses only. So,

if that one is not your spouse, he/she is not the right person. If she is your-spouse-to-be, she is NOT the right person. Bros, if that that girls that wants to ‘do it’ is not the right person, don’t ‘do it’ with her. She is not qualified; she doesn’t deserve it!

Another important thing to consider before going pants down is what happens after the intercourse? Ask yourself, what are the consequences of the intercourse?  If you don’t consider the implications of your action, you make me think you belong to the animal Kingdom or even lower than animals.

I quite understand that you will have fun  for one hour (Did I say one hour?) I mean 10 minutes. But what happens after that? Does it really end in orgasm? What about the possibilities of pregnancy? Ok, you are an expert at preventing it or aborting it neat. But what about contracting diseases? You have taken care of that with ‘rain coat’. Abi? But can you prevent the spiritual damage you have done to your life and future by the act? No! Not at all.

You know what? Sexual immorality has wasted many people’s lives. It has drained many great people’s anointing and potentials. It has also made nonsense of the intelligence and talents of many people. Are we going to allow this same monster cripple us? No! We won’t! My sister, we won’t!

Do you think those people who make sexual immorality a lifestyle are really enjoying? Believe me, they are not! Some of them that have come to their senses wish they never started and are eager to embrace any ray of solution to get them out their condition. For those whose senses have been deadened, know that their enjoyment is like that of a drowning man – drinking sexual immorality on their path to destruction.

The implications of their lifestyle may not be evident now, but it will soon show! Don’t forget that the Scriptures show that the path of the wicked is like the light of the dusk and shines darker and darker unto their doom day. Don’t be deceived by the fact that the

darkness has not overtaken them. Their clock is ticking fast towards destruction except the mercy of God intercept on their journey to doom.

Just by the way, don’t mind the womanizing men. It’s foolishness to say that the ability to commit adultery is a sign of wealth. I once heard one man say, “I have enough to go round.” He doesn’t realize it’s not about semen and the money he has enough to go round, but the spiritual and health, wahala he is contracting which he won’t have enough energy to tackle. From the book, Great Faith Can Be Yours*,  I learnt from the man of God, Pastor Bankie  “that sexual immorality leacks the spirit and few things kill spiritual ability like it. If you doubt me, remember David and Solomon; in both lives the only problems they had with the Lord stemmed from leakage of spiritual power from desire for women.”

 

If you are married yet, sleep with another person who is not your spouse, you are not doing well. What are you going to teach your children about handling their hormones at puberty? For their good and that of your spouse, stop seeing that person. Wake up and be a true lover to your spouse! Cut off from friendships and associations that encourage you to continue in adultery.

 

 

As I summarise, let me bring to your remind you that Bishop David Oyedepo**, charge us not to allow sin ruin out great destiny. Hear him out: “Multitudes are waiting for you to manifest; would you give up your crown to sin?” Bishop went further to ask, “Why must you destroy your destiny on the laps of Delilah when the whole earth is waiting for you manifestation?.”

 

We won’t waste our destiny in Jesus name! Amen. We shall not go pants down for anybody except the right person and at the right person. That’s why we have to cancel any engagement, friendship and association that want to waste our destiny with sexual immorality.

 

God will help us!

 

Give me your hands, let’s pray:

Almighty God, my friend and I once again bring our lives to you in total surrender and consecration. We ask that you keep us in chastity at all times. May the fruit of self control become an all-season-fruits in our lives so that we can control the sexual urge when it comes strong We ask you for all these because Jesus Christ has paid that we can get them. Amen.
