BROS, ARE YOU MARRYING A WIFE OR BOOBS?

BROS, ARE YOU MARRYING A WIFE OR BOOBS?

Many  times I have heard discussion among men on the wife they want to marry and attribute to look out for and one of the things that has always been emphasized is the size of a woman’s boobs. This got me wondering: Is a man marrying wife or boobs?

What is the cause of my wondering?

My conviction is that marriage is supposed be a legal union of a partner for the fulfillment of purpose on the earth and the most suitable person to seek her hand in marriage is lady whom you have found that you can work and walk with in the fulfillment of purpose and not a person with large mass of lipids on her chest.

But what is this craze for boobs in the first place?

According to Bola Bass, a columnist in the Sunday Sun, the Nigerian man believes that the bigger the boobs the better. Granted that I can’t refute this claim; I know that the whole thing about a man and the woman’s boobs is sexual satisfaction. But why should it be better when it’s bigger?

[Tweet “A woman is not defined by her boobs neither does her boobs define her worth. “]

Sex is indispensible in marriage but that is not all that marriage is all about. That’s why I don’t consider it wise that a key attraction a man will have towards a woman is the size of the milk reservoiur on her chest. Marriage is about partnership for life, complementing each other and standing as a strong and dependable support to your spouse.  So, what is the rationale behind placing a lot of emphasis on the size of a woman’s boobs? And I have seen men that married women who hardly have boobs; yet they are happily married. I have also seen many women, who are tagged flat chested; yet they are happily married and making wave in their careers.

There is more to woman that her figure eight! A woman is not defined by her boobs neither does her boobs define her worth. A woman is defined by her inner beauty – immaterial and indestructible ability and potentialities with which she can turn her world around.

Bros, who has bewitched us? The media? Beauty pageantry judges? Or crazy musicians?

My brother, please,  let’s shed this media and society influence on our values and true definition of a woman’s beauty. There is more to woman that her figure eight! A woman is not defined by her boobs neither does her boobs define her worth. A woman is defined by her inner beauty – immaterial and indestructible ability and potentialities with which she can turn her world around.

Do I have a problem with a woman’s big boobs? No. Not at all! My emphasis is that we should know what matters and what does not matter and place our priorities right. If the lady that is most qualified to be your wife is not big boobed marry her. It’s far better than marrying an empty lady whose Unique Selling Proposition is her big boobs. Whether it’s small or big, here is God’s command to you and I: “…let her breasts (whether small or big) satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love (Pro 5:19 NLT, emphasis mine).

Great woman like Adenike Ogunlesi, Founder of international clothing company, Rough ‘n’ Tumble; Oby Ezekwesili, former Minister of Federal of Education and member of World Bank top management; Femi Oke, Host of Aljazera’s The Stream; Nse-Ikpe-Etim, exceptional Nollywood role interpreter; Rita Nna, AGM, Nigerian Airspace Management; Ndidi Osaka, Veteran Broadcaster & immediate past GM of Metro Fm, Lagos, are flying high in their careers and making their husband proud. Their success secret is not the size of their boobs but the size of their brains.

That’s why you and I must take our eyes off ladies that are big boobed but empty and go for true women – woman who are not only asset to their husband but to their society.

Again, are you marrying a wife or boobs?
