FOUNDATION FOR FAILURE

FOUNDATION FOR FAILURE

No one desires failure but many people end of as failures in life. I have not been around for a very long time but within the little time I have been around, I have observed a pattern that results in failure even when people truly desire success. I have resolved not follow that pathway and that’s why I want to share them with you.

Unbridled Sexual Desire

Every human being has sexual desires and it get strongest at youth age. That desire is given to us for enjoyment and procreation. God designed it for use at an appointed time. The use of any good thing at the wrong time is tantamount to abuse. That’s exactly what many youths do about sex. Even the Paul apostle knew about this when he wrote to

Don’t be deceived by those who make it appears as if sexual abuse has no consequences. Many times, it takes time for the consequences of abuse to manifest. In deed sexual abuse has consequences!

Timothy to flee youthful lust. Samson refused to bridle his sexual passion and that became the foundation for his downfall.

In my little stay on the earth, I have seen many intelligent and skilled youths get ruined because they can’t control their passion for sex. You and I must resolve to keep our passion in control or we will be laying foundation for failure.

Don’t be deceived by those who make it appears as if sexual abuse has no consequences. Many times, it takes time for the consequences of abuse to manifest. In deed sexual abuse has consequences!

LAZINESS

Laziness is one of the habits that results in failure even in people who are skilled and talented. For the success you and I desire, we have a duty. We have something to do and we must go about doing it.

Unfortunately, many of us have placed their priority on unimportant things while laying emphasis on what is not important. You are currently learning a trade but instead of paying attention, you sit down jonzing. You must step out to work. You must be willing and step out to do all that you should do.

You can’t tell me you desire to be great while spending a large chunk of your time on social media and paying title attention on things that mater to your future and destiny. Get down to work. Start from the work of learning. Yes, learning is work. Settle down to study and observe those who have gone ahead of you. Stop excessive use social media. There is so much to learn in movies; but you can’t spend on your life watching movies. I believe that I you can learn more from books and tutorials than  movies.

You can’t just expect beautiful a future without putting an effort. Prayer and prophesying is not a substitute to work. You and I must get down to work and continue in it if we don’t want to end of in a future we passionately hate.

Some of the influential Nigerians like David Oyedepo, Aliko Dangote, Bankole Olusina (Pastor Bankie) emphasis the role of work. Right from when they are still building themselves up till now that are highly influential, they are still working very hard. Oyedepo who works 18 hours daily says, “Hard work never kills anybody”

LOVE FOR MONEY

Love for money is not exactly the same as the love for human being. Love for money is the desire to acquire wealth to the extent that you even throw morality to the wind in your quest for money.

The love for money manifests in many ways such as: cheating people, deceiving people, lying and even killing to get money. Many youths got ruined because of their love for money.  See, you can’t cheat people and go without the just recompense of your reward; except God shows you mercy.

You are currently serving someone or working in an organization. Leave the money that is not yours alone.  You don’t need it! For your mind ‘this one go at least cover my cost of transport’ It will cover your cost of transportation; but it can’t cover the negative consequences when it begins to manifest.

Money is important but you must not do wrong to get it. One of the things I have resolved is that if the only way to become wealthy in Nigeria is lying and cheating people, then wealth gbakwa oku. But I have come to know that God is the true source of wealth; not man or sharp practices. You don’t need to cheat anybody to become wealthy. One the key things I learnt from GoodOfTheLand2015 is that integrity is an asset. Pastor Cosmas Okolo emphasised that it’s the highest asset anybody can have.

You are currently serving someone or working in an organization. Leave the money that is not yours alone.  You don’t need it! For your mind ‘this one go at least cover my cost of transport’ It will cover your cost of transportation; but it can’t cover the negative consequences when it begins to manifest. Focus on discharging your duty efficiently; look up to God for your supplies. Believe me; He will make supply available to you. In due season, He will rain wealth on you!

Remember, we have a great future ahead of us. We must be careful not to waste it with our lifestyle today. Make the best choices for your great destiny!
